Shallow Rwandan Basket #3

This is a very lightweight, very finely woven shallow basket. It is made using traditional Rwandan weaving techniques. Baskets are created from sisal fibers with natural dyes that are woven over a core of forest grasses.

These flat baskets work wonderfully as wall decor. They can also serve as eye-catching table detail as placemats, giving a beautiful pop of color to any setting. The baskets have a string loop on the back of the basket for hanging.

The basket's diameter is about 8-1/2 inches, and it has a total depth of about 1 inch.
